Kristen, I can’t thank you enough for the wonderful job you did of coordinating all the details of our daughter’s wedding. At the time we hired you we were looking for someone to be there on the day of the rehearsal and wedding to make sure that things flowed and everything (and everyone) got to where they needed to be. However, when you came on board you did far more than I imagined; following up with the vendors, thinking of things that I may have forgotten and making sure that everything was as we had imagined it would be. As the mother-of-the-bride I was able to enjoy the day knowing that the details were in your capable hands. Everything was wonderful and we have a day filled with so many fond memories. Thank you again for playing such a huge part in such a special day for our family.
Kristen and her Shenanigans team do just what their motto states: “they treat every event as if it were their own.” Kristen was recommended to me, and hiring her was the smartest decision I made in the wedding process. I travel a lot for work, my fiancé lives out of state and we chose a reception venue that didn’t provide any wedding services—we needed help! She matched me with vendors she saw as my best fit (personality and budget wise), suggested lots of ideas and helped in picking up decor items. Her diplomacy and professional advice really came in handy when my mom and I didn’t quite see eye to eye on things. I was able to truly relax and enjoy my wedding week because I knew Shenanigans was there taking care of all the details. I can’t recommend their services enough.
Shenanigans made this wedding a dream come true. From day one Kristen Knight managed all aspects of the event for us including vendors, invitations, transportation, beauty, venue & printing. She has a true gift for visualizing ALL details of a wedding and reception, especially decor. When I saw the reception room for the first time it was so breath-taking it brought tears to my eyes. In addition, she has connections to some of the most awesome vendors in the business. Our DJ, florist and cake people were extraordinary. Best of all, Shenanigans literally paid for itself with vendor discounts, budget planning and knowing exactly were to get a bargain while still maintaining quality. The bride lived out of state and flew in on occasion for planning. Shenanigans would contact vendors, arrange meetings and send us a detailed itinerary, then accompany us. She knew exactly what needed to be done and when, and kept us on schedule. We could not have given our daughter such a beautiful wedding without Shenanigans. We did not have the talent to do what a professional wedding planner can. It made all the difference in the world.
Words can not express how thankful I am for the two of you and your staff for all the things you did to make this the amazing, beautiful, stress-free wedding! I went to the airport to meet Rachel and Clint to pickup the dress and all the other items they didn’t want to take on their honeymoon, and they were both smiling and talking about what an incredible wedding it was! How much fun they had, and how beautiful it was! and how smoothly it ran! Thank you!! Thank you!! You guys made the Mother of the Bride look like a rock star!!!
Kristen and her team were working with my daughter who was 2 hours away, finishing her last semester of college. Her crazy schedule and long distance coordination made for special challenges, but Kristen handled it like a pro. I can’t even imagine not having Kristen and her staff to help us through the wedding weekend, it was unquestionably worthwhile to have a planner! They did a great job of rolling with the punches since my daughter was one of those brides who didn’t want to do “what everyone else does”. Kristen’s “It’s your wedding, we’ll do whatever you want…” attitude was perfect for my daughter! Thanks to Kristen and all at Shenanigans for an amazing fairy-tale come true wedding! It was beautiful!
